Pelvic floor issues can cause pain in your lower back, SI joints, tailbone, or pubic bone, or you may experience incontinence, constipation, etc. Pelvic floor issues are quite broad. They can occur during pregnancy, as you age, during adolescence, and men can also experience them.

Pelvic pain limits you in your daily life, making it difficult to move, exercise, or work. Or perhaps your world becomes smaller because you don’t venture far from home or hesitate to do so because you’re afraid there won’t be a toilet nearby.

Do you want to move pain-free again, have control over continence, and be free to go wherever you want? We help you regain control over your body and movement!

What is pelvic floor therapy?

We not only treat pelvic floor issues but also investigate the underlying causes of the symptoms. We listen to your entire story and observe your movement patterns so that we can provide targeted advice and appropriate exercises.

The focus of therapy is on teaching you how to feel, exercise, and move on your own so that you can take control of your own condition.

Symptoms and preventive programs:

Pelvic pain refers to discomfort in areas such as the SI joints, coccyx, pubic bone, and/or the sitting and hip bones. These symptoms commonly occur during or after pregnancy but can also affect teenagers, men, and older individuals.

The pain is often dull or achy and hinders you from changing positions, prolonged standing, sitting, walking, or even turning over in bed. This limitation affects your mobility.

It’s crucial not to ignore these symptoms for too long, as pain and tension often worsen the condition. Did you know that we can often alleviate pelvic pain within just 4-6 treatment sessions?

By identifying the root cause of your symptoms and teaching you how to address and prevent them, you can regain your freedom of movement without worry!

We’re here to assist you further.

Pelvic floor complaints encompass a wide range of issues. These may include urinary or fecal incontinence, as well as pain during intercourse or erectile dysfunction.
Often, people don’t talk openly about these complaints, yet they significantly impact daily life.
Some of these issues occur more frequently during specific life stages, such as pregnancy, menopause, or aging. However, this doesn’t mean that they are inevitable and cannot be addressed.

We’ll explain the origins of your symptoms, how the pelvic floor functions, and how you can exert control over it. In this way, we’ll help you regain carefree movement and manage your pelvic floor complaints! We believe you deserve to regain control.

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. This can cause various symptoms such as abdominal, back, or leg pain, discomfort during daily activities, or during intercourse. Additionally, some women may experience difficulty or pain while urinating and/or defecating.

Unfortunately, there is still no definitive solution for endometriosis. Even pelvic floor therapy cannot cure endometriosis, but we can help you relax the muscles in and around your pelvis. Pain often causes muscles to tense up, and tension can lead to more pain. We can assist you in reducing muscle tension so that you experience less discomfort caused by endometriosis. We also teach you how to cope with the pain if it persists.

Regarding endometriosis, we have a beneficial collaboration with AKI Acupuncture & Balance. The combination of pelvic floor therapy and acupuncture can help you relax more, resulting in less pain!
